Gary Wiggins grew up in the metallurgy business learning the craft from his father who was a silversmith. In the past 10 years, engraving has become his primary passion as his attention to detail and considerable skill have grown. He now creates bits and spurs, conchos, saddle silver, gear buckles, belt buckles and has even designed a few wedding rings with a western flair. Gary and Cynthia Wiggins live in Brewster, Kansas where the wide open plains create the backdrop for their “30-cow outfit” of commercial crossbred cattle and four horses. This setting provides the perfect inspiration for Wiggins’ custom silver creations.
